Xiaomi Announces Recall of Xiaomi 33W Power Bank 20000mAh (Integrated Cable)

Due to issues identified with certain raw materials from suppliers, Xiaomi is voluntarily recalling a batch of Xiaomi 33W Power Bank 20000mAh (Integrated Cable) (model: PB2030MI) manufactured between August and September 2024. These Power Banks may experience malfunctions under certain usage scenarios, potentially resulting in battery overheating, which could pose a fire hazard.

One local incident took place involving a power bank fire at a train cabin at Raffles MRT on 7 March 2025. Xiaomi has also received reports of 23 incidents globally related to this product.

Consumers should immediately stop using Power Banks that are affected by the recall. Visit Xiaomi's website and enter the Power Bank’s serial number to check if it is affected by the recall, and for instructions on returning affected Power Banks for a refund.
