SAFETY ALERT: Urban.Power N-PM10.0PD “N.Brandz PD18W 10000mAh Power Bank”
The Consumer Product Safety Office has issued a notice to Harvey Norman Singapore Pte Ltd to cease supply of the power bank

During the testing of this sample, it was found that the product did not comply with the following requirements from IEC 62133-2:2017 (Secondary cells and batteries containing alkaline or other non-acid electrolytes - Safety requirements for portable sealed secondary cells, and for batteries made from them, for use in portable applications - Part 2: Lithium systems):
- The cells caught fire during an external short-circuit safety test.
- The cells caught fire during a thermal abuse safety test.
In addition, the instructions and warnings provided were not in accordance with the minimum requirements for portable power banks stipulated in the Consumer Goods Safety Requirements Notice No.1 of 2015, as published in the Consumer Protection (Consumer Goods Safety Requirements) Regulations 2011 Information Booklet.
No report of incident or injury related to the use of this product has been received to date.
Consumers who have bought the product are advised to stop using it immediately.
