Lenovo Group Limited recalls Lenovo USB-C Laptop Power Banks (20,000 mAh)
Lenovo Group Limited detected a manufacturing defect in certain Lenovo USB-C Laptop Power Banks (Part number: 40ALLG2WWW) which were manufactured between January and June 2022, and sold since 2023.
Lenovo has determined that in a limited number of units, the power bank’s internal screws can come loose, causing a short circuit, and overheating of the lithium-ion battery, posing a fire hazard.
To confirm if your Lenovo USB-C Laptop Power Bank (Part Number: 40ALLG2WWW) is affected, follow the instructions below:
Consumers in possession of the affected power bank should immediately stop using it and disconnect it from all devices. Click here to submit their request for a replacement power bank, or visit Lenovo’s website for more information on the recall.
