Belkin Recalls Portable Power Banks and Wireless Charging Stands Due to Fire and Burn Hazards
Belkin is voluntarily recalling the Belkin Auto-Tracking Stand Pro (Model
number: MMA008), the Belkin BoostCharge USB-C PD Power Bank 20K (Model
number: BPB002) and the Belkin Playa USB-C PD Power Bank 20K
(Model number: PB0003). Of these three recalled models, only the Belkin
Auto-Tracking Stand Pro (with serial numbers 57X10F61E00046 - 57X10F67E06078)
is sold by Belkin in Singapore.
The lithium-ion battery in these portable chargers may overheat, posing a fire hazard.
Consumers who have purchased these affected models should immediately stop using them and disconnect them from all power sources and devices. The product should be placed in a safe, dry location away from anything flammable.
Consumers may register using this link to confirm eligibility for a full refund. Valid proof of purchase or serial number is required.
After receiving confirmation of eligibility, consumers should dispose of the product at a certified facility that accepts recalled lithium-ion batteries. Do not dispose of such products in regular trash or recycling bins.
